Vivo X20 Plus UD Price and specification, Android phone
By techtalkz - January 29, 2018
Chinese phone maker Vivo has made the X20 Plus UD official, the very first smartphone with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Although the phone’s best feature is highly sought after by many Android phone fans,
Vivo is using Synaptics’ Clear ID optical fingerprint scanner on the X20 Plus UD. The Clear ID sensor is only able to work on devices that have OLED displays. The scanner uses a light sensor system that is able to read fingerprints by emitting light through the gaps between the OLED screen’s pixels. If a screen protector is too thick, it may hinder the fingerprint scanner from accurately identifying the user’s fingerprint as light is reflected back to the sensor.
